We thought we might leave at 0600 but we left at 0630 instead. We made a stop for gas somewhere in NE. After we filled up we got a couple of miles down the road and there was a crashing sound.
About 1:30 local we made it this far & NO Snow yet. The APRS finally updated after about 5 hours of not hitting a tower.
Several signs for 45+ wind…out of the west.
We stopped at Green River and didn’t meet The Killer.
We have seen Elk, Mule Deer, & Speed Goats along with one Bald Eagle
Made it to Salt Lake City prior to 8:30pm local.
