They took off this morning at 0848 with full sun and a temperature of 49°. Today’s ride is in memory of Julie Parker Willhite who passed away last night.

It took them quite a while to arrive. Tunnel 3 was muddy & dangerous. There were trees down blocking the trail. There was a bridge out they had to detour around. BUT they made it, took a break and asked where the next meeting place was….Kendall WI was chosen.

As I’m waiting for them to show up for lunch I witness a highway patrol motorcycle unit conduct a traffic stop in Wonewoc WI.
Just as they were finishing with lunch Jim & July rode up on their bikes. We had to go back in and visit before all four could ride on to Reedsburg WI for the night. Jim & Judy had just ridden out from there and thought they might like the tail wind better.

When the ride ended the temperature was 59°
Buck’s quote. I enjoyed the tunnels today, love tunnels, cold all day!
Al’s quote. It was awesome that Jim and Judy rode the final section with us today. Loved it!
Day 34. Sparta WI to Reedsburg WI. Trails all day except a couple of detours around closed sections. 56 miles. 1098 feet of climb.

Dinner at Sarento’s at Wisconsin Dells.
