Ride Day #14 Sha-Ron River Access to Drummond MT

The guys are getting ready to mount their rides at the Sha-Ron River Access Point heading east to Garrison. We already have a room reserved so they will ride what they can. The temperature is 37° at about 0830.

Clear skies to start the day.
Time to shed some clothes
1015 break time
Snack & warmup time at 1100
1215 Lunch Stop 31 miles in

Another break after 10 miles and then one in Drummond.

I’ve seen that sky before.

A nice ride after lunch and a stop in Drummond. With the sprinkles starting and a check of the radar the plug was pulled at 1500.

Buck’s quote. Rain is a continuing moral breaker.

Al’s quote. Tough headwind today. Buck was strong and let me draft behind him most of the day.

Day 14. Milltown MT to Drummond MT. 49 miles. 2367 feet of climb. Third day of 3pm rain.

  1. Good ride boys. Weather will moderate soon. AL, I bought a new Vandal hat today at the spring football game in Boise and a guy at the tailgate immediately put a beer in my hand. I’m telling you, it’s magic! 😁
