The guys are getting ready to take off from Webster SD in full sun and a light beeeze from the west in a temperature of 54° at about 0820. The route is about 58 miles today. Alan needs to watch graduation streaming this afternoon.
As I’m waiting 10 miles in, this handsome creature came by to say good morning.

A short break at the truck stop at Hwy 12 & I29 and they were back at it.

They wanted a break away from traffic and found the Milbank SD park they could relax hearing the fountain, riding mower, and the pickle balls being hit with the racquets.

After a short break it was on to Ortonville MN and re-evaluate.

With the way some power poles and trees are bent I’d say they got some wind.

They stopped at Hwy 12 & Rd 75.
Buck’s quote. Three days of solid tailwind…the payback comes Tuesday!
Al’s quote. Another great day with a helpful tailwind. I wasn’t ready to quit. It’s time to cheer on Justin at his graduation via live-stream. Woot woot!
Day 27. Webster SD to (East of) Ortonville MN. 71 miles. 1512 feet of climb. Third day in a row of good tailwind. Yeehaa!
