They got on the trail at 0919 with full cloud cover and a temperature of 61° heading south to IL. They have a mix of trails & country roads today.

A few breaks in there was a Lady mowing that had to stop and come to visit. she laughed and smiled when the story was told.
They stopped for lunch in Brodhead WI….ice cream is all the place had. After that we found an FFA cookout and had pork chops.

Ride called at the Raccoon Creek IL due to rain.
Buck’s quote: cloudy and cool all day….. enjoyable ride without sunscreen.
Al’s quote. It’s great to be in Illinois, our 9th state!
Day 36. Madison WI to (near) South Beloit WI. 58 miles. 2,039 feet of climb. Rain threatened us all day. We declared a rainout 9 miles short of the planned end point. We’ll get those 9 miles tomorrow when it’s dry.
